The “Most Luxurious Train in the World” has a capacity of 72 passengers, and offers beautiful accommodation in a classic style.
The suites have air conditioning; Meals are served on board, with a selection of South African wines. In the gazebo wagon can enjoy unforgettable moments observing nature.
All suites have air conditioning and have capacity for two people. The beds can be double or single. Each of the royal suites (16 sqm) has a private area with bathroom, shower and Victorian bath. The deluxe suites (11 m²) also have a private area and bathroom with shower. The pullman suites (7 m²) has a bed during the day turns into a sofa and bathroom with shower.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the magnificent Victorian wagon, with capacity for all train passengers at the same time. Take care on board gastronomy, which comes with an excellent selection of South African wines. Costumes during the night are formal in this train, which is known as the “Pride of Africa”.

The lookout wagon is at the end of the train, where you can enjoy unforgettable moments. To keep the spirit of the golden age of train travel, there is no radio or television on board and the use of mobile phones is limited to suites.
The central station of Rovos Rail is in Pretoria and from there there are regular departures to Cape Town, Victoria Falls and Durban. There are also special outputs, such as the epic journey Cape Town – Dar es Salaam, with duration of 13 nights.
